Two Years

Today we celebrate our two year wedding anniversary. These past two years have been filled with many great memories from an amazing wedding/honeymoon to traveling Europe to having our first child. I'm so thankful to not only be married to a wonderful man of God who loves me day in and day out but to truly my best friend. Here's to two years down and a lifetime to go. I love you Tim!

Two Weeks Down and A Lifetime to Go

We've survived the first two weeks, which have been so fun but so surreal at the same time. I'm still a little in shock that we're parents but enjoying every moment of it. We couldn't have asked for a better baby. Don't get me wrong she has a good set of lungs and likes to be heard but she usually only uses them if she needs something like a diaper change, food, food or more food, just like her daddy. Two weeks down and many more to go.

Over the past two weeks we've been blessed by our family and friends who have stopped by to shower us with love, gifts and meals. We really appreciate everyone's generosity.

It's a Girl!

Announcing Stevie Lee Holmes weighing in at a healthy 8lbs 5oz and measuring 21 inches. She came into the world on 8.14.10 at 3:27 PM. We are blessed by all the love, support and prayers for her. Thank you to all our friends and family.

Doctor Visit Update

We went to the doctor’s today and the baby’s headed in the right direction. Head is down but sunny-side up, not ideal, we want it to turn because this causes bad back labor doctor said. We’re only 1 ½ dilated and one day past our due date. The doctor has scheduled an induction for next Wednesday, Aug 18th at 8pm, which means we will for sure have a baby by the 19th. However, we are praying that it will come on its own. That's all for now:)

Three Days And Counting

We still can't believe we're three days away from the baby's dues date. It feels like yesterday we just found out. Overall, I think we're ready or at least as ready as we can be. We have the bassinet, diapers, wipes, blankets, car seat, a few outfits and my mom "Grammy" aka the baby whisper, on call!

At my doctors appointment last Thursday the baby was still high, so hopefully it starts making its way down soon so we can meet it! Next apt is this Thursday, unless it comes before than:)

In the meantime, I thought I would share some pictures from the amazing baby shower my sisters (Kristy / Lindsey), sisters-in-laws(Kate/Linda) and good friends (Becky/Nicole) gave me back in June. From the theme, food, games and guest it was really a great day!
