Let the blog begin

As many of you know Tim and I have now been together for 3 ½ years, married for just shy of 2 yr, and are only two weeks away from adding a little nugget to our family. So, we thought we would finally start a blog in order to keep everyone near and far informed of the latest and greatest baby/family moments. We look forward to sharing this journey with all of you (aka blog stockers)!

Here are a few cliff notes of our pregnancy over the last 9 months.
• Tim and I found out we were prego 12/6/09
I secretly took the test while Tim was showering, not really thinking it was going to be positive…clearly I was wrong, then I quickly ran to the bathroom where Tim is now brushing his teeth and said okay don’t freak out but I think I’m prego. Tim with a mouth full of toothpaste said what?? When did you take a test? What? I showed him the stick still not believing it and he said yeap I think we are. But I was in serious disbelief so I ended up taking a couple of test to be sure (about 5), man those things don’t lie… And now we’re here two weeks away.
• We told our families at Christmas and friends after we made it out of our 12 weeks
• The sex of the baby is still an unknown to us, so we call it our little nugget
• We will be delivering at Little Company of Mary in Torrance
• No morning sickness, overall pretty good pregnancy but LOTs of heartburn, TUMS and I are BFF’s
• We bought a family mobile, Tahoe
Its large and in charge when compared to driving a little bmw, which I still love you Gregory
• Our prayer during this whole thing has been that God would knit a special piece of spirituality in its little heart to grow up to be a follower of Jesus Christ and then healthy because to be healthy without HIM is not healthy at all
• We have really enjoyed our last few months of just being a married couple and not being consumed by the overwhelming amount of baby to-do’s, which is one of the reasons the car seat actually just came out of the box yesterday, the hospital bag is still not packed and the nursery looks like a bomb went off but I can honestly say it’s been worth not focusing on for the time we’ve spent together has been priceless.
• Now we’re just waiting to meet the greatest surprise of our life…Girl or Boy???? We don’t care we love YOU already!
